Introducing Yuzu — a refreshing app for the Asian community to find friends, dates, and belongings. Yuzu is the place where finding someone who understands your unique flavor is as refreshing as it is fun. Connect over culture. Embrace your whole self. Whatever your vibe, there’s a person who vibes with your zest for life.
Fresh Beginning
Named after the yuzu fruit — fresh, distinctive, and impossible to replicate. The "y" in the logo carries a hidden leaf, a quiet nod to the fruit itself. The brand builds from there: centered on fresh beginnings, and the idea that finding someone who truly gets you — as a friend, a date, or a community — should feel as natural as it is exciting.
The palette is functional by design — pink for Dating, cyan for Social, yellow-green as the energetic base. Gradients run through the entire system, reflecting the fluidity between modes: on Yuzu, the line between making friends and finding something more is never fixed.
Yuzu speaks the way the community does — warm, confident, and in on the joke. IYKYKY (if you know, you know Yuzu). Slide for Someone Refreshing. Be True to You. The language is playful without being try-hard, culturally specific without being exclusive. And every word choice carries a double meaning — fresh, sweet spot, zest, refreshing, mix. The fruit is always in the language, even when it's not named.
